Richard L. Lewis

Webster, New York – Richard passed away on August 6, 2024, at age 84. He was predeceased by his daughter, Shawna Lewis; mother, Esther Mae Lewis; siblings, Kenneth Lewis and Judy Bauman.

Richard is survived by his wife, Lee Burta Lewis; son, Kevin (Kristine) Lewis; grandchildren, Kylie, Kacie, Zoe, Lila, and Jordyn Lewis; great-granddaughter, Onalee Ozuna; brother, Gary (Rosanna) Lewis; sister, Charlotte Prince; and several nieces and nephews.

Richard was born in Buford, Ohio. He grew up in Grand Junction, Colorado, and attended Western State College in Gunnison, Colorado, where he met his wife of 62 years.

Richard was an accomplished Human Resources executive in many Fortune 500 companies. He had the opportunity with his career to live in many states: Colorado, Pennsylvania, North Dakota, Missouri (Keebler), New Jersey (Spencer Gifts), Ohio (Limited Stores), Florida (Alamo Rental Car), Minnesota (Best Buy), and California (Disneyland).

He spent his retirement years in Ohio and New York, where he could be close to his children and grandchildren.

Most of all, Richard was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend.
