Pamela A. Johnson

Pamela Johnson, age 75, of Ontario, NY, passed away on July 13, 2026.

Pamela is survived by her husband of 52 years, James Johnson; son, Kyle Johnson; daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Jorge Degro; granddaughter, Zoe Degro; brother, Rodney Vane; as well as nieces and nephews.

Pamela was known for her devotion to family, her love of books, baking, and having tea, chocolate, and chats with friends. She was a passionate advocate, spending countless hours with lawmakers to find funding for programs for individuals with disabilities. Prior to her illness, Pamela and James explored countless trails in the Finger Lakes and Upstate New York and loved traveling to new places. Many adventures were tied to her favorite books and locations of interesting history and lore, including their dream trip to Nova Scotia.

Service and interment will be held privately.
