Niles John English Sr.

Niles John English Sr., age 94, of Trumansburg passed away at Cayuga Medical Center on Tuesday, December 21, 2021.

Niles was born in the Town of Caroline in 1927, a son of the late Arthur Elmer and Carrie H. Johnson. He was a Korean War Veteran, honorably serving in the Army.

Niles is survived by his wife, Irene Herrick English; children, Patricia Madigan, Steven (Janet) Herrick, William (Mary) Herrick, Susan M. Herrick (William) Besemer, and James (Sandy) Herrick; 9 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by his first wife, Joyce, and children, Judy Champlin, Niles English Jr. (Sandi), William (Sue) English, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Niles was preceded in death by his sisters Pearl and Myra and his brothers Marvin, Edward, and Leland, as well as his two daughters Joyce English and Ellen Zöeller and grandchildren Ian and Nicolas Zöeller.

Services will be held privately.
