Naomi Joyce Ann Dillon
Naomi J. Dillon of East Rochester passed away on July 19, 2026, at the age of 94.
She is survived by her children Susan, Becky, Timothy, Lori, and Patrick; her grandchildren, Darby, Lucas, and Madison; and her great-granddaughter, Angela.
She was born April 20, 1932, on a farm in Clifton Springs, a daughter of the late Emerson and Pearle (Hendricks) Curtis. Ninety-four years of love, laughter, and memories, Naomi led an active life. She worked at Trenholm East Inn, Rund's Periwinkle Pub, and later retired from Monroe Golf Club. She always said it felt like she never worked a day because she loved what she did.
In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking and baking for others, spending time with family and friends, and going out to dinner. But her biggest passion in life was hitting the golf course, playing until she was 92.
Though our hearts are broken, we are incredibly grateful for the blessing of having her with us for so many wonderful years. Her love shaped our family, and her legacy will continue to live on in each of us.
Predeceased by her husband, John Dillon (Jack); her son, John E. Dillon (Jack); her sisters, Joan Volpe, Sandra Pursati, Mary Tribotte, June Talbot, Betty Pollott, Elaine DeGraves, and Barbara Barnaba; and brother, Emerson Curtis.
Graveside services will be held at St. Anne's Catholic Cemetery on Friday, July 24, at 11 am, with a reception following at The American Legion, 132 Cuyler Street, Palmyra, NY 14522. To share a special memory, please visit Naomi's guestbook at www.murphyfuneralservices.com.
