Mary (Doland) Lisowski, age 85, of Montour Falls, and formerly Watkins Glen, passed away September 16, 2025, at home.

Mary was born in Montour Falls on October 12, 1939, the daughter of Archie and Helen (Kimble) LaRue. She worked as a Teacher's Aide and Teaching Assistant at Watkins Glen Elementary School for 22 years. She loved working with the kids, and her dedication and patience will always be remembered by those who worked with her. As the family matriarch, her unwavering loyalty, love, and dedication to her family will be greatly missed in all the ways that matter.

Mary was a member of the Retired Teachers Association, VFW Auxiliary, the American Legion Auxiliary, and WOTM Lodge (Chapter 1401). She was predeceased by her husbands, E. Grant Doland and Michael Lisowski; son Timothy Grant Doland; daughter Terry A. Lafever; brothers Cliff LaRue, Melvin LaRue, and Richard LaRue; and also her lifelong friend, Sharon Bingell.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Barry Bruner; grandchildren Adam Dobson (Kristen), Tammy Jean Francois (Wagner), Douglas LaFever, Brittany Williams, and Zachery Doland, her late son's fiancée Nita Masciarelli; great-grandchildren Carlton, Mya Rose, Kaleigh, and Reagan; several beloved nieces and nephews; and her cherished 4-legged companion, Buddy.

The family will receive friends at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 East 4th Street, Watkins Glen on Saturday (Sept. 27th) from 2 PM to 4 PM, followed by a memorial service at 4 PM, and burial at Lakeview Cemetery in Watkins Glen.
