Mary Ann Beaulieu of Auburn, New York, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Mary Ann was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Elizabeth Gaklik, and her brother, Richard Gaklik. She is survived by her devoted husband, Robert Beaulieu of 54 years; her brother, Leon Gaklik (Elaine); her sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Gaklik, Shirley Gray, Elaine Brownell (Stephen), and Elaine Beaulieu. She also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews, including Sharon Freitas (Mark), Edward Gaklik (Maureen), Kathy Vavrick (Greg), Karrie Root (Rick), Mindy Whitehead, Mona Simmonds (Mike), Bonnie Mulligan (Scott), Louis Beaulieu (Doris), William Beaulieu, and Sandy Havilland.

Mary Ann retired from her position as a Custodian for Cayuga County, a role in which she took great pride. She was known for her strong work ethic, generous spirit, and willingness to help anyone in need. Following her retirement, she enjoyed traveling and created many cherished memories on cruises with her husband, Bob. She loved sharing stories of their adventures, the beautiful places they visited, and the wonderful meals they enjoyed aboard ship.

Family and friends were the center of Mary Ann's life. She especially enjoyed hosting holiday gatherings and creating lasting memories with those she loved. She treasured her time with family, friends, and cousins, Kenny Bronson and Kathy Lady, whose companionship brought her much joy throughout the years.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of The Commons on St. Anthony, 5th Floor, for the compassionate care Mary Ann received. Special thanks are extended to Connie and Hannah, who shared treasured stories and provided comfort, support, and kindness to both Mary Ann and her family throughout her journey.

Please join the family for a time of visitation and remembrance on Wednesday, July 8th from 10-11 am at Pettigrass Funeral Home, 196 Genesee Street, Auburn, NY 13021. We invite you to stay for a brief service at the conclusion of the calling hours. A private burial at St. Joseph's Cemetery will be held thereafter.
