Canandaigua – Laura (Ramos) Buckland, age 93, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2026.

She is survived by five children, Daisy Morse, Acy (Sunday) Buckland, Cindy Morelock, Dinah Blankenberg, and Robert (Kim) Buckland; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; brother, Humberto; and sister, Clara. She was predeceased by her husband, Orval Buckland; and three children, Richard, Sonia, and Denny.

Laura was born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, and was the daughter of Carmalito Ramos and Carmen Lopez. She lived her early life in Puerto Rico until she met the love of her life, Orval. They later moved to the United States in 1961. Laura was a homemaker who took care of everyone. She enjoyed bingo and going to the casino with her daughters.

Services are private. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Canandaigua. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Greater Rochester at Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd., Fairport, NY 14450.
