Katrina "Tina" M. (Ahern) Squires

Katrina M. "Tina" Squires, 63, of Throop, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2026, with her loving family by her side.

Born in Syracuse, April 18, 1963, she was the daughter of the late Kim and Barbara Blair Ahern. Tina has been employed with Del Lago Casino since its opening and also worked bartending for several local establishments including the Eagles Club and the Holiday Inn. She was a member of the Frank Calimeri Post of the American Legion. More than anything, Tina loved her family and enjoyed cutting loose and having fun with family and friends.

She is survived by her loving husband Steven Squires; children Holly Harris, Heather Harris (Patrick), Shawn Harris, Steven Squires II, Timothy Cutler, and Jacob Squires (Deanna DeJoy); one brother Kim Ahern; sister Pamela LaVarnway (Mike); her best friend Sue Ryan; eleven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Tina is predeceased by two brothers, Dirk and Shannon Ahern; and sister-in-law Sharon Ahern.

Friends are invited to join the family for a Celebration of Life to be held this Friday, June 19, 2026, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Sunset. Arrangements are with White Chapel Funeral Home Inc., Auburn.
