June L. (Bloom) Blazek

June L. Blazek, age 72, of Route 221, Harford, NY, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2020, at home.

Born July 25, 1947, in Danbury, CT, she was the daughter of the late Herbert F. and Mae Dewitt Bloom and wife of the late Gary L. Blazek, who died August 26, 2017. June was a waitress working for various food establishments, including Michael's Bar & Pub in Danbury.

In addition to her parents and husband, June is predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law, Sally and Buddy Devine; brother, Richard Bloom; son-in-law, Michael D. Nichols; and daughter-in-law, Valarie Horrocks. June is survived by her children, Irene Horrocks-Nichols, Peter V. Horrocks Jr., and Jeannine Borst (Jeff); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Judy Kubisek and Sandy Marinaro (Richard); brothers, David Bloom (Kathy), Earl Bloom (Malinda), Dennis Bloom (Barbra), and Brian Bloom (Donna); and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like a special thank you to go to Sean Tapia and Kailei Nichols for all their help with their grandmother in her time of need.

At June's request, there are no formal services planned. Her family will celebrate her life privately at a later date.
