June was born on June 13, 1933, in Phelps, New York, to the late William L. and Celia V. (Adams) Hause. Her deep Christian faith shaped her life and guided her as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
June and her husband, Bob, owned and operated the restaurant at Clifton Springs Country Club for many years. Later, she fulfilled her dream of working with children at Canandaigua Primary School.
June’s deep faith was evident in the way she lived her life. She was an active member of Our Lady of Peace Parish and the Daughters of the American Revolution. June loved spending time with family and friends, especially the family’s annual cottage week and Christmas. She also enjoyed researching genealogy and using technology to stay connected with her faith and loved ones.
June is lovingly remembered by her children: Cynthia; David (Cheryl); Robert Jr. (Michelle Guinta); Michael (Wendy) Avery; Patricia (Robert) D’Amico; and Kathleen (Thomas) Beckley; fifteen grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren; the Ives children, for whom she was a second mother; many dear nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends; and her beloved West Highland Terrier, Abby.
June is now reunited in heaven with those who went before her, including her parents, her loving husband Robert J. Avery Sr., her brothers William (Janet) Hause and Robert (Lorraine) Hause, and other beloved family members and loved ones.
