Judith D. (DeCann) Humphrey

PALMYRA: Humphrey, Judith D.; died on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at the age of 88.

Please join the family for a mass of Christian burial on Friday, July 24, at 12 noon at St. Anne's Church in Palmyra. A reception will follow the mass in the church hall. Private burial will be in East Palmyra Cemetery. Judy was born on January 3, 1938, in Arcadia, NY, the daughter of Howard and Catherine Yaskow DeCann. She was a 1955 graduate of Newark High School. Judy and Richard Humphrey were married on May 16, 1959, in St. Michael's Church in Newark. Judy was a member of St. Ann’s Church and Palmyra’s Kings Daughters and enjoyed the Library Luncheons and gardening, but her greatest joy came from her family and friends.

Judy was predeceased by her parents and her husband Richard. Judy is survived by her daughter Brenda Humphrey; sons David (Brenda) Humphrey, Craig (Amy Pasquale) Humphrey, and Michael (Stephanie Snow) Humphrey; sisters Vera Holder and Joan (Rick Coyne) DeCann; 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
