John J. Menichini

NY June 26, 1927 – November 16, 2013 Age 86

John Joseph “J.J.” Menichini, 86, passed on to his eternal rest November 16, 2013. J.J. was a disabled veteran of the U.S. Army injured while serving in the Philippines during WWII. He attended the NYC School of Interior Design and was employed by the Hannah Corp as a color chemist in the plastics industry. His passion and love was for his wife, children, and tennis.

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Marie “Babs” Lupo; children, Debra (Vincent) Perillo and Gary (Adrienne) Menichini; grandchildren, Garrett (Morgan) Menichini, Gavin Luke Menichini; and brother, Alfred (Connie) Menichini. J.J. was preceded in death by parents Joseph and Mary (nee DeCarlo) Menichini.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, November 20, 1:00 p.m., at St. Ann Catholic Church, 475 9th Avenue South. Entombment will follow at Palm Royale Cemetery & Mausoleum.
