Jennifer Duncan
Bloomfield - Jennifer Duncan, age 63, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2026. She is survived by three sons, Mathew Michelsen, Jesse Furnari, and Joseph Furnari; mother, Roslyn Duncan; brother, Arran Duncan; sister, Jamey Harris; boyfriend, Jim Prebola; and many extended family members, dear friends, and all those whose lives were touched by the beautiful person that she was. She was predeceased by her father, Peter Duncan.
Jennifer was born in Fairport and was the daughter of Peter and Roslyn (White) Duncan. She graduated from Penfield High School in 1981 and earned her Licensed Practical Nurse degree through BOCES. Jennifer had a lifelong love of reading, music, and animals. Above all else, she loved her three sons and wanted only the best for them. She touched the lives of many people with her presence, and those who knew her will remember her kindness, warmth, and compassion.
Jennifer had a long and difficult battle with addiction. Addiction is a disease that affected many years of her life, but it never defined her worth or the love her family and friends had for her. Jennifer faced struggles that many of us cannot comprehend, and while her loss leaves an immeasurable void, her family takes comfort in knowing that she is at peace and no longer suffering.
Jennifer was a beloved daughter, mother, sister, and friend. She will be remembered for her love of family, compassionate heart, appreciation for books and music, and the unconditional love that she had for her children.
The family asks that Jennifer be remembered not for the disease she fought, but for the life she lived, the love she gave, and the people that she cherished. Jennifer will be deeply missed and held forever in our hearts. May she rest in peace, free from pain, surrounded by love and forever remembered.
Her memorial service will be held Saturday, July 25, at 2 PM, at Johnson-Kennedy Funeral Home, Inc., 2 South Ave., Bloomfield.
