Dundee: Jeff S. 'Bones' Pierce, age 49, of Dundee, NY, died Wednesday, September 24, 2014, after a courageous battle with cancer, in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loved ones.

Friends are invited to calling hours from 5-8 pm Monday (Sept. 29) at the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water Street, Dundee, NY. His funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday (Sept. 30) at Faith Baptist Church, 13 Harpending Ave., Dundee, with Pastor Lawrence Semans officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Dundee. Memorial contributions may be made to Dundee Fire Company Emergency Squad, 12 Union St., Dundee, NY 14837.

Jeff was born August 19, 1965, in Penn Yan, NY, the son of Richard T. and Joyce B. Spears Pierce. He graduated from Dundee Central School in 1984. Realizing he was not cut out to be a farmer or factory worker, he found his calling in 1995 wearing dress shirts and ties, working in car sales and was the Finance Manager for Bill Cram Chevrolet, in Seneca Falls, NY. An avid sportsman and sports enthusiast, he was a Life Member of the North American Hunting Club, a member of the Dundee Fireman's Benevolent Assoc., and was a former Dundee Junior Fireman, and a Dundee Little League Coach. He loved to hunt, fish, play softball, bowl, play cards, and pull tabs; he enjoyed ESPN and watched all sports, even dirt track racing in Dundee. His favorite color was 'Syracuse Orange'.

He is loved and will be dearly missed by many, but especially by his devoted companion for 22 years, Holly L. Case; along with 2 sons, Bryon 'Bucky' A. (Brittany Jamison) Case, and Dakota R. Pierce, all at home; his parents, Joyce and Richard Pierce of Dundee; 3 awesome brothers, Lenny T. (Debbie) Pierce, Jamie J. (Kim) Pierce, both of Dundee, and Jody B. Pierce of Canandaigua; his 'favorite sister', Jennifer L. (Korey) Goodman of Dundee; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.
