Janet Vassallo

Janet Vassallo, 71, of Auburn passed away on May 29, 2026, at Auburn Community Hospital. She was a lifelong resident of Auburn, NY, daughter of the late Percy and Rose (Pilat) VanOrman.

Janet is survived by her loving husband, Dr. Frank Vassallo, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Janet was predeceased by her siblings, John VanOrman, Cheryl Canino, and Linda Stevens.

Family is invited to pay their respects on Wednesday, June 3rd from 10 am - 11 am in White Chapel Funeral Home Inc., 197 South Street, Auburn, NY 13021. Entombment in St. Joseph's Cemetery will be held privately.
