Bradford: Jack L. Craft, age 89, of Bradford, NY, died Friday, April 12, 2013, in the comfort of his home. Honoring his wishes, there are no calling hours and there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the SPCA Finger Lakes Animal Shelter, 7315 State Rte 54, Bath, NY 14810, or to the Lamoka Masonic Lodge 463 F&AM, Tyrone, NY 14887.

Jack was born May 2, 1923, in Hornell, NY, the son of the late Howard G. and Pearl Donnelly Craft. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He has lived locally for 30 years, previously of Hornell, where he was employed for 46 years by the Railroad, retiring as an Engineer for Conrail. On Sept. 18, 1993, in the Tyrone Methodist Church, he married the former Joanne K. Esaias Stauffer.

Mr. Craft was a 60-year member of Lamoka Masonic Lodge 463 F&AM in Tyrone, loved the outdoors, enjoyed golf, and was an avid 'Johnny Appleseed.' He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Joanne K. Craft, at home; 2 children, 2 stepchildren, and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother.
