RUSH – Howard Keith Stott, June 17, 2026, Children's Librarian, Author, Poet, Pianist, Composer, Organic Gardener, Long-Distance Cyclist in his 98th year. Predeceased by his parents Theron Stott and Alice Fahnestock and wife Dorothy Atkins. Survived by his wife Patricia, children David (Patti), Janet Christie, and Marianne (Ryan) Zelazny, and grandchildren James, Jessica, and Jennifer Christie.

Special thanks to his aide Carlisa for her kindness and support during his last three years.

Calling hours will take place at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, 59 Monroe St., Honeoye Falls, NY 14472 on Saturday, June 20 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.

A Celebration of his life will be held at The First Universalist Church of Rochester, 150 South Clinton Ave., Rochester, NY 14604 on July 11 at 2 p.m.

Memorials in his memory may be made to the First Universalist Church of Rochester Music Fund or the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra.
