Glenna Versa Ergott, age 100, of Watkins Glen, was carried by angels to Heaven on Monday, October 7, 2024.

Glenna was born on March 4, 1924, in Bloomfield, MO, the daughter of Gardiner and Bessie Matheny. She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence Ergott, and longtime companion, Willis Haring.

Glenna is survived by her children: Raymond (Marcie) Ergott and Sara Kim Andrews (Mike Jayne); sisters: Colleen Merchant and Ann Riney; grandchildren: Jim (Holly) Ergott of Corning, Bob (Lori) Ergott of Rhode Island, Erica (Matt) Edminster of Syracuse, and Josh Doolittle of Florida; great-grandchildren: Jacob, Rick, Jessica, and Emma Ergott, Kyra Edminster, Dominic Doolittle, Chris Lorello, Justin (Kayla) Lorello, and Nick (Rachael) Lorello; great-great-grandchildren: Cullen Thibodeau and Scott Letendre; extended family: Michael (Patty) Bilinski, Clifford (Nancy) Boyce, Donald Boyce, Heather and Jeremy Dawson (Madaline), Molly and Colin Howard (Frederick), Matthew Boyce, Ryan and Wendy Boyce (Stella, Calvin); and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen, on Saturday (Oct. 12th) from 11 AM to 1 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1 PM at the funeral home, and burial at Montour Cemetery.
