Gina Rose Cummings
Gina Rose Cummings, 92, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, family, and kindness that will be cherished for generations.
Gina was a devoted woman of faith whose relationship with God guided her throughout her life. Her faith was a source of strength, comfort, and purpose, and it was reflected in the compassion, grace, and love she shared with others every day.
A proud and strong Italian woman, Gina built her life around the values she held dear: family, hard work, loyalty, and caring for others. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, neighbor, and friend who always put the needs of those she loved before her own. Her home was a place of warmth and welcome, where family, friends, and neighbors were always greeted with an open door, a kind heart, and often a home-cooked meal.
Gina found joy in life's simple blessings. She loved caring for her home and took great pride in tending her yard, planting flowers, trimming bushes, and enjoying the beauty of nature. She could often be found singing along to her favorite songs, dancing to the music she loved, or preparing meals for the people who meant the most to her. Holidays and family gatherings brought her immense happiness, and she treasured every moment spent surrounded by those she loved.
She shared an especially close and treasured bond with her daughter, Debra Malvaso, and her husband, Thomas Malvaso. Their relationship was built on unconditional love, devotion, and friendship. Debra lovingly cared for her mother throughout her life and remained steadfastly by her side through her final days, a reflection of the deep love they shared.
Gina was preceded in death by her beloved son, Robert Cummings, who passed away on February 25, 2019.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Debra Malvaso, and her husband, Thomas Malvaso; seven cherished grandchildren; several beloved great-grandchildren; and many extended family members, dear friends, and neighbors whose lives were enriched by her love and friendship.
While her family mourns the loss of her physical presence, they find comfort in knowing that she has been reunited with loved ones who have gone before her and is now resting peacefully in the presence of the Lord she faithfully served throughout her life.
Burial services will be held for immediate family. Gina's family will forever remember her gentle heart, unwavering faith, strength, generosity, and the countless ways she made everyone feel loved. Her memory will remain a blessing, and her legacy will continue to live on through the family she cherished above all else.
"Well done, good and faithful servant." – Matthew 25:23
Forever loved, forever remembered, and forever in our hearts.
