George B. Moore, 65, of Freeville passed away Thursday at Cortland Regional Hospital.

He was born on July 6, 1953, in Cortland, the son of the late George and Dorothy Murdock Moore. George retired from the Town of Dryden Highway Department after 35 years. George enjoyed spending time with his family and raising his beef cattle. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother Steve Moore.

Survived by his sister: Diane Moore Williamson of North Syracuse; brother: Ronald (Theresa) Moore of Freeville; sister-in-law Marie Moore; nieces and nephews: Patrick Williamson, Lisa Williamson, Rena (Cas) Stach, Audrey Moore, Theo (Rebekah) Moore, Richard Moore, Steven Moore, and Amy Moore; great-nephew: James Moore.
