Dundee: Georga B. Little, age 86, of Dundee, NY, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital in Penn Yan, NY. Friends are invited to calling hours from 2-4 pm Sunday (Jan. 27) at the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water Street, Dundee. Funeral services will be private for the family with Lay Pastor Lew Ann Giles officiating. Burial will be in Bradford Cemetery, Bradford.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dundee Fire Company Emergency Squad, 12 Union St., Dundee, NY 14837, or the Weston Presbyterian Church, 510 County Rte 23, Dundee, NY 14837.

Georga was born October 30, 1926, in Bath, NY, the daughter of the late Morris and Mildred Covell Bennett. She graduated from Dundee Central School in 1944 and from Rochester Business School in 1946. On September 7, 1946, in Bradford, NY, she married the late Richard "Dick" Little; he passed away on November 12, 1995. A full-time loving wife and mother, she had been a nurse's aide at Soldiers and Sailors and helped her husband with the family business, Little's Boat Storage in Weston.

Mrs. Little was a member of Weston Presbyterian Church, the Tyrone Chapter #612 Order of The Eastern Star, and the Penn Yan American Legion Post 355 Ladies Auxiliary.

She is loved and will be dearly missed by three daughters: Linda L. Barkley of Penn Yan, Peggy L. Lane with whom she made her home, and Susan L. (J.C.) Robbins of Rock Stream; a sister, Helen (Bill) Viersen of Nokomis, FL; seven grandchildren: Chrissy (Mark) Strait, Tracy (Tim) Kelly, Brenda (Tom) Benjamin, Richard (Nicky) Barkley, Calvin "Cubby" Lane, Jeffrey, and Jennifer Robbins; sixteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by a grandson, Richard Dale Dickerson, in 1989, a sister, Beverly Young, and two brothers, Fred and Paul Bennett.
