GENEVA – Elizabeth Wishart Hall, age 90, of Geneva, NY, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Clifton Springs Hospital.

There will be no prior calling hours. Funeral services will be held at The Presbyterian Church in Geneva on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to The Presbyterian Church in Geneva, 24 Park Place, Geneva, NY.

Elizabeth was born in Rochester, NY, and resided there before moving to Geneva. She was the daughter of the late James and Evelyn Newman Wishart. Elizabeth graduated from SUNY Brockport and taught briefly in Rochester before moving to Geneva. After raising her family, she returned to teaching and taught at Children’s Hours School in Geneva. She was a member of The Presbyterian Church in Geneva and was active with the Self Help Sewing Class. She was a member of PEO and the Fortnightly Reading Club. Liz was an avid Jeopardy fan, enjoyed quilting, crocheting, playing bridge with her friends, and beekeeping. She especially loved time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her husband of 56 years, George B. Hall. She is survived by her daughter, Alice (Mark) Nash of PA; her sons, Steven (Rebecca) Hall of NC and Douglas (Heidi) Hall of Webster; her brothers, David Wishart of CA and Richard (Evelyn) Wishart of Macedon; eleven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
