Edward Charles Walker JR

Edward Charles Walker JR, 74, of Lansing, NY, died on May 24, 2026. He passed away peacefully at Rochester General Hospital from complications of pneumonia.

He was the son of Genevieve and Edward Walker SR, both originally from Wyalusing, PA. Edward was an outstanding mechanic and car enthusiast; he had a passion for all things cars and John Deere. His dog Duke was his best friend, and Duke misses him dearly.

Edward served in the United States Army in Fort Hood, Texas, and owned his own auto body and mechanic shop for over 50 years.

Edward is survived by his daughter Anita Fowler (Jay Finch), his son Edward Charles Walker JR II (Sara Walker), his three sisters Nancy Walker, Connie Walker, and Penny Walker, his grandchildren Dustin Fowler, Hailey Walker, and Eli Walker, and his longtime girlfriend Emma Lorinci. But most of all, his beloved dog "Duke."

Edward is predeceased by his parents Genevieve and Edward Walker, his brothers Michael Walker and Robert Walker, and dog "Phoenix."

A private ceremony will be held for immediate family only at The NYS Veterans Cemetery--Finger Lakes.
