Edith L. Puchebner

Edith (Schidlo) Puchebner, 81, of Rochester, NY, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2026.

Edith was born on September 26, 1944, in Mödling, Austria. She later made her home in Greece, New York, where she built a life centered on family and love.

Edith was predeceased by her parents, Josef and Angelina Schidlo. Known affectionately as "Oma" to all, Edith was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her spouse of many years, Alfred Puchebner; her daughter, Birgit (Kevin) Gillman; and her son, Ron (Sue) Puchebner. Grandchildren include Madisyn (William) Roberts, Brooke Puchebner, Ashley Shufelt, and Brandon Shufelt. Her sister, Sylvia Bergemann, and many nieces and nephews also survive her.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to the National Kidney Foundation.
