Drew Raymond VanGorder, age 27, of Cortland, New York, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 8, 2019, at home.

Born September 24, 1992, in Cortland, he was the son of Thomas Jr. and Joan Gower VanGorder. Drew loved the outdoors and video games.

He is survived by his parents, Tom and Joan VanGorder of Cortland; brother, Nathan of Norwich; daughter, Maddison Dawn Marie Williams; grandparents, Thomas and Audrey VanGorder Sr.; grandmother, DeAnna Gower; aunts, uncles, and cousins. In addition, he was predeceased by brother, Jeremy, and grandfather, Charles Gower.

Calling hours will be held from 4-6 pm, Friday, December 13, 2019, at Perkins Funeral Home, 55 West Main Street, Dryden, New York. Private burial will be in Virgil Cemetery, Virgil, New York.
