Donna Lee Smith

CLIFTON SPRINGS – Donna L. Fillingham Smith, 82, passed away Friday, May 1, 2026, at Geneva General Hospital.

In keeping with Donna's wishes, there will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Monday, June 22, in Maple Grove Cemetery, Waterloo, NY. Her son, Alfred Weaver, pastor of Open Arms Community Fellowship, will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lollypop Farm, Main Campus & Shelter, 99 Victor Rd., Fairport, NY, 14450.

Donna was born September 9, 1943, in Canandaigua, NY, the daughter of Francis M. and Alethea E. Young Fillingham. She attended Waterloo High School. Donna worked many years caring for others. She retired as a nurses' aide for home healthcare. She was a former member of Grace Baptist Church of Geneva and a member of Open Arms Community Fellowship in Clyde, NY.

She is survived by her son Alfred (Dawn) Weaver of Clyde, NY; daughters Lorrie Christensen and Wendy Laquitara, both of Clifton Springs, NY; four grandchildren Brittany (Nicholas) Mashewske, Nicholas Christensen, Thomas (Holly) Weaver, and Lee (Amber) Weaver; seven great-grandchildren; sisters Shirley Brown of Cape Coral, FL, Jeannette Black of SC, Alethea M. Bortle of Macedon, NY, and Bonita Nedza of Clyde, NY; many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; sister Joan Keefer; uncle Roger Young; and uncle-in-law Robert Springer.
