Diane Elizabeth Parmelee Geneva/Dundee: Diane Elizabeth Parmelee, age 58, of Geneva, formerly of Dundee, NY, died Friday, April 12, 2013, at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, N.Y.

Diane was born January 3, 1955, in Montour Falls, NY, the daughter of the late Dean Lamborn and Marion Hall Lamborn. On June 29, 1996, in the town of Torrey, she married Charles W. Parmelee. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she had worked for several years at Joyful Vineyards in the town of Milo, NY. She loved the outdoors and camping.

She is loved and will be missed by her husband of 16 years, Charles W. Parmelee, at home; her mother, Marion B. Lamborn of Penn Yan; a daughter, Angel E. (Mike) Brown of Geneva; 3 grandchildren, Vanessa R. (Michael McDonald) Pompeo of Branchport, Pete L.A. Richardson of Dundee, and Tryna R. Richardson of Geneva; 6 sisters, Doris (Kyle) Jorgensen of Penn Yan, Debbie (E. Jay) Groom of Dundee, Denise (Denny) Pearston of Geneseo, Doreen Lamborn of Penn Yan, Donna (Joe) Karkut of Naples, FL, and Deanne (Keith Kier) Lamborn of Greece, NY; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides her father, she was pre-deceased by a daughter, Trina Kerrick, in 1995.

Honoring her wishes, there are no prior calling hours. A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 21, at the Penn Yan American Legion. In lieu of flowers, the family graciously requests memorial contributions be sent to the funeral home to help with expenses.
