Geneva, NY October 22, 1961 – July 11, 2026 Age 64

Deborah Kay DiFederico, 64, of Geneva, New York, passed away peacefully on July 11th, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of love and cherished memories.

Family and friends may call on Saturday, August 1st from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the McGuigan & Bero Funeral Home, 45 High St., Geneva. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. George Bastedo will officiate. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery following the service.

Deborah was born on October 22, 1961, in Geneva, New York. She was a lifelong resident of Geneva and graduated from Geneva High School.

She retired from New York State after more than 30 years working for the Office of Mental Health, Department of Health, and Office for People With Developmental Disabilities. She took pride in her work and the opportunity to help others throughout her career.

Outside of work, Deborah found happiness in life's simple pleasures. She was a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys and looked forward to cheering on her favorite team every football season. She enjoyed roller skating, going for walks, attending various events throughout the Finger Lakes, making puzzles, and vacationing in Florida, where she loved spending time at the beach.

Deborah was a kind, generous, and loving person who would do anything for someone in need. She had a gentle spirit and a caring heart that touched everyone who knew her. Above all else, she treasured her family and loved every opportunity to spend time with them. Her warmth, compassion, and unwavering love will be remembered always.

Deborah is survived by her son, Antonio (Kelly DeCaro) DiFederico; her brothers, Bruce (Bonnie) DiFederico and Steven DiFederico; her sister, Diane (John) Bero; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved cat, Lily.

She was predeceased by her father, Benjamin DiFederico.

In lieu of flowers, Deborah's family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the Thrive to Survive Foundation, a cause that was meaningful to her.

Though her presence will be profoundly missed, Deborah's love, kindness, and the countless memories she created will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
