Daniel Lee Porterfield

Walworth: Entered into rest on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at the age of 71. He is predeceased by his parents, Stanley and Jean Porterfield; brother, Billy Porterfield; and sister, Kay (Daryl) Hall. Survived by his children, Daniel (Sarah Rosati) Porterfield, and Amber (Jake) Publicover; 2 grandsons, Benjamin Porterfield and Torin Publicover; his former wife, Debbie Porterfield; sisters, Becky (Buzz) Appleman, Donna (Dale) Hall, and Sheila (Todd) Erwin; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Dan owned Dan's Auto Body Shop in Ontario Center until 1994, and then went on to work construction until he retired. He was a devoted father and a cherished grandfather. He had a love for animals, especially dogs and raccoons, and was an avid coin collector.

Following cremation, a private burial will be held for the family at Marion Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 15, 2024, from 10 AM until 12 noon, at Shadow Lake, 1850 Five Mile Line Road, Penfield, NY 14526, for all relatives and friends to celebrate and remember his life.
