Colleen Catherine Ross

Colleen Catherine Ross, age 40, of Corning, NY, left this world on November 7, 2023. Colleen was born in Corning, NY, on February 11, 1983. She worked as a cook at Pierri's Central Restaurant in Painted Post for many years. Colleen will always be remembered for her warm smile and friendly demeanor that made every person she knew feel special.

She is survived by her loving daughter Tessa Renee Watson, and partner of 14 years Cloyse Huyler; mother Julie Blencowe; and half-brother R.D. Blencowe, all of Corning.

You are invited to join the family at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen this Friday (Nov. 17) from 3 PM to 5 PM. Together, we will celebrate Colleen's life, her love for Seneca Lake, and find solace together. A Celebration of Life will take place at Marconi Lodge in Corning, NY, on Sunday the 19th from 1 PM to 5 PM.

Her vivacious spirit brought laughter and joy to all who knew her. Aside from being the heart and soul of social gatherings, Colleen had a passion for bow-hunting. She demonstrated great skill, which led to numerous awards in various New York State leagues. A lover of nature's beauty, Colleen spent countless hours chasing sunsets and sunrises with her camera in hand. Each photo she captured held a piece of her vibrant personality and zest for life.
