Claudia Proctor

Shortsville - Mrs. Claudia Proctor, age 78, widow of Donald R. Proctor, died Sunday, July 26, 2026, at F. F. Thompson Hospital.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, August 1, from 2 – 4 p.m. at the Perkins-Ames Funeral Home, 2583 East Main St., Gorham, NY 14461.

Mrs. Proctor is survived by her daughter, Andrea B.K. Cavanaugh; and son, Cody J. Proctor.

Mrs. Proctor was the oldest of her nine. Her siblings loved her very much and will miss her dearly. She had many nieces and nephews and two grandchildren, as well as many children that called her grandma. She had many friends.

Mrs. Proctor was a longtime resident of Batavia where she worked dairy farming alongside her husband. After retiring, they moved to Shortsville.

Mrs. Proctor was born on September 5, 1947, to the late David Kennedy and Beulah Henries. She loved to read and work on puzzles.
