Christopher Michael Withers

On July 17th, 2026, a bright new star appeared in the heavens with the passing of Christopher Michael Withers, age 42. Married just 8 and ½ months ago to the love of his life, Rachael Michelle Hardin, along with her two children, Jenner and Charlie. Chris leaves behind a legacy that will be remembered forever.

Chris was born in Auburn, NY, on October 16th, 1983. Chris had a larger than life personality; he was known for his sense of humor and quick wit. Chris was a jokester, which occasionally got him into trouble. He was often both the perpetrator and recipient of pranks.

Into his twenties, he began working for Centrica, formerly known as Smartwatt, as an electrician. He was able to travel the country before settling in Nashville, Tennessee, where he rose to the lofty position of Project Manager. He was well liked and highly respected by all of his coworkers.

Chris is survived by his wife, Rachael Withers of Nashville, TN; step-children, Charlie and Jenner Hardin of Nashville, TN; his father, Michael "Harpo" Withers of Zephyrhills, FL; his sister, Alison (Sam Church) of Auburn, NY; his brother, Mark Withers (Lisa) of Nashville, TN; along with many relatives and countless friends.

Chris was predeceased by his mother, Karen Withers; his aunts, Mary Hansen and Patti Withers; along with uncle Tom Marquart.

Chris will be sorely missed by all who knew him... and to this I say, "Chris, may your star be forever bright."
