Charles Eugene Poormon

FAYETTE – Charles E. Poormon, 51, passed away Friday, June 5, 2026, at his home with his loving family by his side.

In keeping with Charlie's wishes, there will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, June 18, at Restvale Cemetery, Seneca Falls, NY. Rev. Terry Fenton, pastor of Seneca Bible Baptist Church in Seneca Falls, will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Breast Cancer Foundation, Ste. 300, Columbia, MD, 21044-3538.

Charlie was born November 8, 1974, in Waterloo, NY, the son of Teddy L. and Carol I. Neild Poormon. He was employed with Hillside Children's Center at the Varick Campus until the campus closed. Recently, he was employed with Walmart in Seneca Falls. His family and friends will remember him for always bringing joy and laughter to everyone around him.

He is survived by his daughters and son-in-law Michelle Poormon, Amanda Poormon, and Matthew Martin, of Seneca Falls, NY; father Teddy Poormon of Seneca Falls, NY; brother Robert (Sonya) Poormon of Waterloo, NY; two nieces; one great-niece and three great-nephews; and many cousins.

Charlie was predeceased by his mother Carol I. Poormon and his wife Terri Poormon.
