Himrod: Carol A. Trojanowski, age 63, of Himrod, formerly of Horseheads, NY, died Sunday, April 28, 2013, at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, N.Y. Friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 am Saturday (May 4) at the Jackson Center United Methodist Church, Jackson Center, PA, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 am with Pastor Jennifer Wolf officiating. Burial will follow in the Jackson Center Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Jackson Center United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 177, Millerton, PA 16936.

Carol was born April 14, 1950, in Wellsboro, PA, the daughter of the late Preston Sisson and Marie Turner Sisson. She graduated from Williamson High School in 1968 and from Arnot-Ogden School of Nursing in 1970. On Sept. 21, 1974, in the Jackson Center United Methodist Church, she married William D. Trojanowski. They have lived in Himrod since 2012, previously of Horseheads. Carol was a registered nurse in the Med Surgical Unit at Arnot-Ogden Medical Center in the beginning of her career; she then worked for various doctor offices throughout the area and Guthrie Health Care in Watkins Glen before accepting a position in the Nurses office of the Horseheads School District. Mrs. Trojanowski was a member of the Jackson Center United Methodist Church, was an amateur radio operator N2EZI, and enjoyed homemaking, loved children, and living life to the fullest.

She is loved and will be missed by her husband of 38 years, William D. Trojanowski, at home; her mother, Marie Sisson of Millerton, PA; 2 sons, Thomas P. (Rachel) Trojanowski of Montour Falls, and Jason W. (fiancé Teresa Allen) Trojanowski of Tyrone, NY; 4 grandchildren, Marissa, Brandon, Trinity, and Angil; a sister, Janice (Richard) VanCamp of Millerton, PA; a brother, Kenneth (Sharon) Sisson of Pine City, NY; and several nieces and nephews.
