Carol E. Taylor

Savannah: Passed away on Friday, November 19th, age 73, following a brief illness. Carol is survived by her sons, Sheldon A. (Annette) Taylor of Auburn and Joseph (Josette) Taylor of Rochester; grandchildren Justina M. & Justin C.R. of Auburn, and Juliana of Rochester; sisters Lucille (Melvin) Stickles and Nancy (Charles) Decker; brothers Russell Smith and Frederick Smith; sister-in-laws Joyce (Jack) Stowell and Janet (Barry) Lavoy; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and her extended family in the Foster Grandparents Program. Carol was predeceased by her husband Robert Taylor in 1985; her parents Floyd and Esther Smith; sisters Janet McCool and Susan Smith; brother Robert Smith.

Family and friends are invited to call 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the COLVIN-NORTON FUNERAL HOME, 13081 West Church Street, Savannah. Carol's funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday from the Savannah Family of God Church. Interment will follow at the Butler-Savannah Cemetery on Rt. 89. Memorial contributions in Carol's honor may be directed to either the Savannah Family of God Church or to the Savannah Volunteer Fire Dept.
