Carmen V. Liberatore
GENEVA - Carmen V. Liberatore, 98, passed away Sunday (July 12, 2026) at Keuka Comfort Care Home with his family by his side.
Friends may call from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm Sunday (July 19) at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee St., Geneva, NY 14456. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am Monday (July 20) at St. Francis De Sales Church. Burial will follow at Glenwood Cemetery.
Carmen was born on July 7, 1928, in Geneva, NY, and was the son of the late Guylia and Theresa Liberatore. He was a life member of Buckhorn Sportsman Club, Cayuga Lake Beagle Club, and Geneva Rod and Gun. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and a big fan of the NY Yankees and Buffalo Bills.
He is survived by his daughters Sue Liberatore, Sandy (Scott) Brignall, Judy Fuller, and Joyce Wheeler; sister Fran Pedersen; grandchildren Ashley Saxton, Nichole Brady, Kayla Fredericksen, Nicholas and Mackenzie Wheeler, Taylor and Hunter Brignall; great-grandchildren Rylee and Ayden Perkins, Keira and Liam Brady; several nieces, nephews, friends, and hunting buddies.
Carmen is predeceased by his beloved wife Shirley Liberatore; daughter Janet Fredericksen; sisters Mary (Joe) Carnovale, Cecilia Broderick, Noreen (Bob) Adair, and Lucy (Gene) Taras; brother-in-law Dick Pedersen.
