Canandaigua - Brenda S. Lancaster, age 72, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2026. She is survived by three children, Fredrick Fraley of Rochester, NY, Thomas Lancaster and Carolyn Bowers of Binghamton, NY; 17 grandchildren, including Anna, Amanda, Stanley, Bruce, Jaiden, Hayleigh, and Garrett; numerous great-grandchildren, all of whom will carry her memory in their hearts; and two siblings, James Heath and Robbin Hare. She was predeceased by her husband, James Lancaster.

Brenda was born on August 22, 1954, in Waterloo, NY, and was the daughter of Richard and Dorothy (House) Heath. She was a loving mother who always cared about people, and her warmth touched everyone she knew.

In accordance with her wishes, Brenda was cremated. A memorial service and celebration of life will be held in August. Interment will be with her husband at Vestal Hills Memorial Park, Vestal, NY.
