Beverly J. Viglione, age 86, of Watkins Glen: It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Beverly J. Viglione, who left us on March 4, 2024, at the age of 86. Beverly's journey began September 24, 1937, into a busy and bustling farming family in Cato, NY. Beverly's life was adorned with various pursuits that brought her joy. She walked through life's path from Cato-Meridian High School, work at Shepard Niles, wife, mother, homemaker, work at Lakewood Vineyards, and retirement from the US Post Office. An ardent lover of the outdoors, she found solace in lifelong activities such as caring for and riding her horses, hunting, sewing, painting, gardening, creating beautiful quilts for family, and healing quilts for church friends fallen ill.

Among those who welcomed Beverly into eternity are her parents D. Ray and Mabel Crandall; her son John R. Viglione; son-in-law Anthony J. Fraboni; and granddaughter Samantha Viglione. Additionally, she joins her thirteen siblings: Robert, Raymond, Ray, Pearl, Timothy, Glen, Ora, Clarence, Genevieve, Lela, Alice, Marion, and Virginia.

Left to cherish her memory is her devoted husband of 63 years, Thomas C. Viglione; son Thomas C. Viglione Jr. of Kansas City, MO; daughters Elizabeth Fraboni of Watkins Glen and Margaret Kuznets (Douglas Gerow) of Hubbard Lake, MI; daughter-in-law Chanh Viglione of Syracuse, NY; son-in-law Oleg Kuznets of Marlton, NJ; grandchildren Mark Fraboni (Tristine Mace) of St. Petersburg, FL; Sarah Kuznets of Marlton, NJ; Thomas Viglione of Kansas City, MO; Ashley Viglione of Syracuse, NY; special caregiver Melissa Smith; and beloved cat Missy.

Please join us to honor Beverly's life at Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home in Watkins Glen on Wednesday, March 13th, from 2 PM to 3 PM, followed by a memorial service at 3 PM. She will find her final resting place at Pleasant View Cemetery in Reading Center, NY. Beverly's presence touched countless lives during her time with us. She will forever be remembered for her gentle, creative spirit and kindness. May she rest in peace surrounded by God's eternal love and tranquility.
