Savannah: Passed away on Monday, December 28th at age 80. Barbara is survived by her husband of 59 years, Arnold; children, Kevin (Roxanne) Townsend, Kathleen (Paul) Blender, and Jeffrey (Wilma) Townsend; grandchildren, Anton (Dawn) Blender, Ramsey (Chris) Carper, Seth Blender, Melissa, Alex, Sarah, and Christopher Townsend; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, December 31st, at the Savannah Congregational Church from 1 to 2 pm, where her funeral service will be held immediately following. Interment will be at the Butler-Savannah Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association or to the Savannah Congregational Church.
