Anthony Francis Altemari
WATERLOO – Anthony F. Altemari, 95, of Warners, NY, formerly of Waterloo, passed away at his home Saturday, July 4, 2026, with loving family by his side.
Family and friends may call from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 8, at the Coe-Genung Funeral Home, Waterloo, NY. The funeral service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, July 9, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 35 Center St., Waterloo, NY. Rev. James Fennessy, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Waterloo, NY.

Anthony was born October 10, 1930, in Waterloo, NY, the son of Guy and Mary Giansante Altemari. He was a 1952 graduate of Waterloo Central High School. He was a Korean War Army veteran. Anthony retired after many years of employment with General Electric, Syracuse, NY. He was a communicant of St. Mary's Catholic Church and St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Camillus, NY.
He is survived by his daughter Denise Luman of Warners, NY; grandsons Anthony F. Ard of Warners, NY, and Ryan Luman of Sterling, NY; great-granddaughter Berlin P. Luman; and many cousins.
He was predeceased by his parents and wife Susan L. Ray Altemari.
