Penn Yan: Ann M. Ovenshire, age 32, of Penn Yan, N.Y., died accidentally in an automobile accident on Friday, May 18, 2012. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday (June 8) at the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water Street, Dundee. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Ann was born August 13, 1979, in Geneva, NY, the daughter of Floyd B. and the late Donna M. Cornish Washburn. On July 26, 2007, in Dundee, NY, she married her best friend since 1996, Scott Lee Ovenshire. Ann was the founder and sole proprietor of Wine Country Cleaning in Penn Yan, NY. She attended the Barrington Community Church.

A loving wife and mother, she will be dearly missed by her soul mate of 15 years, husband of 4 years, Scott L. Ovenshire, and her two daughters, Tiffanie Colbert, age 15, and Kayla Ovenshire, age 8, all at home; her father, Floyd B. Washburn of Dundee; a sister, Patricia "Tricia" (Jack) Corwin; brother, Tony Randall; brother, Michael Washburn; sister, ReGina Spencer; brother, Floyd F. Washburn; sister, Ann Keech; brother, Roger Keech; her maternal grandfather, John "Pappy" Cornish of Dundee; paternal grandmother, Mildred E. Washburn of Himrod; dear brother and sister-in-law, John and Carol Ovenshire; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, several nieces, nephews, and countless friends.

Scott wishes to thank all those who have shown their support and concern during this most difficult time and sends his love to his wife, saying, "My lovely beautiful wife; I will always and forever love you more."

She was pre-deceased by her mother, Donna Washburn, on August 23, 2005; her maternal grandmother, Catherine Cornish, on November 18, 2005; and her paternal grandfather, Floyd Washburn, on March 12, 2007.
