William J. Beckley, 69, of Waterloo, N.Y., passed away on Monday, September 9, 2024 at Geneva General Hospital.
Born on August 8, 1955 in Geneva, N.Y., the son of the late Frederick and Theresa A. (Loncz) Beckley. He graduated from Waterloo High School and then Alfred State. Bill worked at Miller Brewing Co./Owens Brockway Glass Containers for 40 years. He had a passion for music, cars (especially his Miata), riding motorcycles, boating (particularly at sunset), good food, and was devoted to his family. Bill also had a great love of animals, especially his dogs, and was known for his great sense of humor.
He is survived by his loving wife, Awilda Padró; son Benjamin W.; mother-in-law Maria Camacho; sister-in-law Myrna Padró and her husband, William Santos; nephew, William; niece, Madelyn; as well as several cousins.
Bill was predeceased by his sister, Patricia Butchki; and his brother, Frederick W. Beckley.
Calling hours will be held Friday (September 20) from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Mull Funeral Home, 113 Virginia St., Waterloo, N.Y. A service will follow immediately afterward. A private burial will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery at the family's convenience.
