Sylvia L. (Carnera) Tremfer, formally of Claridge, Pa., passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at age 81.
She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, known for her unwavering love and dedication. She was also a compassionate caregiver to her daughter Cheryl and granddaughter Karissa.
She was predeceased by her parents, Andrew and Mary (Persichetti) Carnera; her husband, Norman "Sam" Tremfer; her daughters Ann Tremfer McNeely and Cheryl Tremfer; and her granddaughter, Karissa Kasteel.
She is survived by her children, Michael Tremfer, Mindie Rinehart, Mark (Charlie Kline) Tremfer, and Michelle (Tim) Crofoot; her grandchildren Kelsey (George) Haverly, Rachel Rinehart, Kennedy Rinehart, and Amanda Rinehart; her siblings, Evelyn "Dolly" Monticello, Donna (Richard) Norris, Barbara Yeckel, Thomas "Rudy" (Lavone) Carnera, and James Carnera; as well as many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
