Rose Ann Areford Glen, age 93, formerly of Dundee, passed away Friday, February 13, 2026, at The Homestead in Penn Yan.
Rose Ann was born December 5, 1932, in Dundee, the only daughter of the late John C. and Rose (Kelley) Areford Sr. She graduated from Dundee Central School with the Class of 1950. On September 22, 1951, at Dundee United Methodist Church, she married Robert H. Glen, who predeceased her on September 23, 2017.
A lifelong resident of the area, she worked for more than 30 years with the local phone company and retired as a service representative for Con-Tel in 1981. Mrs. Glen was also a lifelong member of the Dundee United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her son, Dirk R. (Kimberly) Glen of Durham; her granddaughter, Avery P. Glen of Hillsborough; her sister-in-law, Audrey Derby of Dundee; and several dear nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by three brothers, Jack R. Derby, John Calvin (Doris) Areford Jr., and Myron (Lenore) Areford.
Honoring her wishes, there will be no calling hours or public services. Inurnment will take place at Hillside Cemetery.
