Philip D. McGlory, 70, passed away Friday (August 16, 2024) at his home in Rochester, NY.
In keeping with Philip's wishes, there will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be Friday (September 13) in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Waterloo, NY. Rev. James Fennessy, pastor at St. Mary's Catholic Church, will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Beverly's Animal Shelter, 50 E. River St., Waterloo, NY, 13165.
Phil was born August 12, 1954, in Waterloo, N.Y., the son of Paul E., Sr. and Luella M. Kachel McGlory. He attended Waterloo Central School. Phil was employed with the Rochester City School District and recently retired from the Rochester City Police Dept.
He is survived by siblings LaDonna (Thomas) Henrichs of Webster, N.Y., Donald McGlory of Rochester, N.Y., Albert McGlory of Jamaica, N.Y., Edward (Cindy) McGlory of Canandaigua, N.Y., and Marie (Michael) Gunkel of Waterloo, N.Y.; and many nieces and nephews.
Phil was predeceased by his parents; and brothers Paul E., Jr. and John McGlory.
