Patricia M. Wax, age 71, of Wayne, NY passed away unexpectedly on Monday January 6, 2025 in Strong Memorial Hospital, in Rochester, N.Y.
Friends are invited to calling hours from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday Jan. 10, at the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water Street, Dundee; where her funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday Jan. 11, with Pastors Lawrence & David Semans officiating. Burial will be private in Wayne Village Cemetery, Wayne.

Patricia was born April 30, 1953 in Penn Yan, N.Y., the daughter of the late Albert E. and the former Phyllis M.Cornue Westfall Jr.. She graduated from Dundee Central School in 1973; and worked in the school cafeteria after graduation; before taking a position at Seneca Foods, in Dundee, where she worked until retiring to raise her family.
‘Pat’ was an animal lover, both big, or small. She was a kind hearted and caring person who would always help others when she could. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, western movies, the outdoors; but most of all she loved her daughter Amber first, and socializing with friends and family second.
She is survived by her daughter Amber L. (Anthony Campbell) Rinick; her beloved dog Ivy; her bonus daughter Breeana (Travis Campbell) Brewer; her mother Phyllis Westfall; 2 brothers Jeff (Melissa) Westfall, Wally (Sue) Westfall; nieces and nephews, Bonnie, John, Andy, Debbie, Matthew, and Danielle; father of her daughter Terry L. Wax; and several adopted family members and grandchildren, Anabelle, Jaxson, Spencer and Willow.
Pat was predeceased by her father in 2000 and her grandmother Gertrude Blim in 2013.
