Nicole Pharo, 46, passed away after a hard-fought battle with lung cancer on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at Geneva General Hospital with her family by her side.
Nicole was born on December 26, 1978, in Pennsylvania to Deborah E. and George A. Pharo. Bouncing from a young delinquent in the inner city of Philadelphia to a marksman shooter in the Army (1997-2001); Nicole didn't understand the word "easy" she did understand what it meant to LOVE.
As an avid reader, cook, homemaker and volunteer, everything she did was filled with indescribable amount of love. Being a Girl Scout leader, coaching soccer, a theater mom, being a committee member for the village's Celebrate/Commemorate board, are all things she did, not for the praise but to make sure everyone around her felt seen and appreciated. Nicole was a woman who would never let someone struggle, even if it meant giving up her last dime. What she didn't have materially – she made up for in experiences, moments, and ways to make you feel like the world won't always suck.
Her family and her memory is and will always be her greatest achievement. She is survived by her husband, Wayne S. Woodard, Jr.; her children, Natalie Hunsberger, Nevaeh, Izabella and Aubrie Woodard and Colby Young; her brothers; George and Raymond Pharo and sister, Amber; her best, friend Sara Smolinski; and her Fur Babies, dogs; Louie, Koda and Roscoe, along with Cupcake, her cat; several nieces, nephew and cousins.
Friends and family are invited to call Friday, January 24, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., at the Mull Funeral Home, 113 Virginia Street, Waterloo. A military service will be held at 6:00 p.m. A celebration of her life will be held Sunday, January 26, at 12:00, noon, at the Seneca Falls American Legion, 48 State Street, Seneca Falls.
