Michael C. Rocco, 62, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 15, 2024.
All are welcome to join the family at 4 p.m. on Monday (September 30) at Norman L. Waterman Funeral Home, Inc., 124 W. Miller St., Newark, N.Y., for Michael's memorial service.
Michael Rocco, beloved son of Samuel and Roseann (Ciarfello) Rocco, was born on November 8, 1961, in Rochester, N.Y. Throughout his life, Michael found joy in listening to music and cherished the companionship of his peers and the staff at Finger Lakes DDSO. He also appreciated moments of peace and quiet, often finding solace in the comfort of his own room.
Michael will be remembered by his sisters: Joanne Elias, Frances (Michael) Cudlipp, Dana (Mark) Belland and Tara (Bobby) Salter; father, Samuel (Judith) Rocco; many nieces, nephews, aunts uncles and cousins.
Michael was predeceased by his mother, Roseann (Ciarfello) Famiano.
