Mary T. Werner, 85, of North Rose, N.Y., went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September, 3, 2024.
Friends and family may call on Monday, (September 9) at Boeheim-Pusateri Funeral Home in Lyons from 4-6 p.m. A funeral service will take place Tuesday, September 10 at St. Francis Church in Phelps and a burial will be held in St. Francis Cemetery immediately following.
Mary was born February 20, 1939, the daughter of Arthur and Mary Crosby of Phelps. She worked at Sarah Coventry doing clerical work and then later at J.L. Hammett Company. She met and married John J Werner Jr and left the workforce to stay at home and raise their daughter. She loved her family and dedicated her life to caring for them.
Mary is survived by her husband John J Werner Jr; her daughter Meghan Fremouw (Werner); three grandchildren Brandon McLouth, Jacob McLouth, and Zoey Fremouw; and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her dear lifelong friend Josephine Burns. She is predeceased by her parents and four brothers, Robert Crosby, Theodore Crosby, John Crosby, and Thomas Crosby.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Wayne County Volunteer Ambulance. Mary's family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Wayne County Volunteer Ambulance and the staff at Rochester General Hospital for their care during the last week of her life.
