Marjorie Wilcox

Marjorie Wilcox, 93, lifelong resident of Seneca Falls, passed away at Geneva General Hospital on Thursday, October 24, 2024. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at 10 A.M. in Restvale Cemetery where Marjorie and her late husband, Stanley, will be laid to rest together. Donations in memory may be directed to the National Kidney Foundation at kidney.org.

Marge was born in Seneca Falls, the daughter of the late Merriman and Grace (Trickley) Struble. She grew up in Seneca Falls and graduated from Mynderse Academy. Before settling down and starting her family, Marjorie worked as a telephone operator, was a realtor for D. King Real Estate, and also worked for Sylvania for a few years. She married Stanley Wilcox and shortly afterwards found her true calling, being a mom. She enjoyed raising her family in Seneca Falls and being there for her children when they needed her. She will be fondly remembered for her big heart, always keeping a neat and tidy house, and her biggest passion, her love for her family and her pets.

Marge is survived by her two sons, Stanley E. and Scott (Malissa) Wilcox; seven grandchildren, Sheryl Puylara, Shelly and Samantha Wilcox, Ray and Mike Cisco, Brittany Lilly, Ashley Clark; seventeen great-grandchildren; sisters, Joyce Lake and Nancy DelPapa; several nieces and nephews and extended family. In addition to her parents, Marjorie was predeceased by her husband, Stanley; daughter, Pamela "Penny" Cisco; grandson, Steven Wilcox, and great-granddaughter, Kendra Lilly.
